A New Chapter Begins
I would like to take this opportunity to let everyone know that I have officially resigned my position as Studio Director of IAS Manila, Inc. effectively immediately.
I started the groundwork for the IAS’ Philippine branch back in November 2005 and official operations began in January 2006 with seven people (3 pencillers, 3 colorists, and myself). Today IAS Manila has more than 40 people composed of artists, project managers, and IT specialists operating 24/7 serving a variety of international clients.
We have gone far and fast in the last two years and I am glad to have been part of this great enterprise.
I am privileged to have worked with Scott Ownbey, founder and CEO of IAS, Inc. one of the coolest boss I have ever had to chance of working for and someone I consider to be a close personal buddy. Thank you for the most wonderful opportunity.
I have certainly learned a lot during my tenure but the proverbial fork in the road has come upon us and now I must follow a different path.
For those who never lost faith and always believed in me, I offer you my most heartfelt gratitude. It means more to me than words can say.
I follow now my true passion, comic books. Thus begin a new chapter in my life.
